been there, done that & not proud of it;
- from IF @ 9:47 AM

Catching up sessions with friends have always been fun but somehow the past weekend didn't turn out that fun. No, not because I didn't enjoy their company. I enjoyed their presence ttm but it was more of the.. things that were shared. It was certainly disheartening but I guess stuffs do happen.

It certainly strikes an eerie sense of déjà vu for me.. March, misunderstandings, cold wars, egos. Hah. They seem all too familiar. In fact, those are the exact same things that contributed to the mess a couple of years ago. I'm absolutely not proud of it but I'm just giving my two cents worth.

In these kind of things, I guess the best way is to lower down one's ego and have a proper talk. Have as many talks if you have to. One talk probably would not suffice but if something is worth salvaging then do it quick. Yes, I find it ironic too that I'm saying all these but it is this simple lesson that I took from that incident.. And to be in the same class? That makes it worse doesn't it?

I reaaaaally hope that your situation will not spiral to the one that I landed myself in. Seriously.

On another note, I just dreamt of having a buffet dinner with my SJI friends. I think I had sushi. Anyway, HELLO. I know you all are busy lah but please lets meet up, like now! iie ishh miezz euzxz gaizxzx! Okay a rather failed attempt at twit language but point is, I miss you guys ):

urgh.

One of the few things that I can't stand is being told I'm irresponsible. It just peeves me off. For the past 17 years or so, I've tried (to the best of my ability) to live by a few principles and being responsible is one of them. To actually say that I'm irresponsible based on just ONE incident is already bad enough but ignoring all the countless times when I displayed full responsibility in whatever I've done is just pure BS.

Great alright, just great. This is exactly why I do not openly exhibit what I feel. This is exactly why I do not dare to wear my heart on my sleeves. It does not pay to do so at all. It just takes a single moment of vulnerability to get people clamouring over you and taking a jab wherever they deem fit. And you wonder why I keep problems to myself most of the time. Pft.

Sigh. Something like this normally leave me unfazed but.. a broken record that keeps playing on and on is quite annoying, if you get what I mean.

Weak. Ha ha..

-

For the record though, I'm contented with the way life is right now. Life is not all about money and getting the higher salary. That view is so myopic and distorted to say the very least. Its more than that. I firmly believe so.

On a happier note, I want to wish Calvin a very very Happy 18th Birthday. God knows whether he'll read this. But happy birthday all the same eh friend (:

I want to pull away when the dream dies
The pain sets it and I don't cry
I only feel gravity and I wonder why

I just came back from watching the Man Utd/Liverpool match at Simpang Bedok. The atmosphere was super awesome. What was more satisfying was being surrounded with Man U fans and enjoying their disappointment and frustration. Yeah, I'm kinda sadistic like that. Sorry Casey. Haha. Baik Poooool! Okay must stop gloating now or else karma would bite me in the ass for tomorrow's game.

In no order,

1. Somewhere Only We Know - Keane

I can listen to this song endlessly on repeat without getting bored. Also, it fits every mood.

2. Elephants - Rachael Yamagata

Recently added into my list of favourite songs. Her voice is like woah and it is one of the few songs which I won't get bored by. Go listen to it people!

10 sneezes per minute. Stupid, stupid flu! Why oh why must you exist?

& why the hell did they cast a Canadian actor to play Goku in Dragonball Evolution?!

On the other hand, albeit rather WOLS, I just learnt how to do this ♥ . Haha. I know it isn't much of an accomplishment but I've always wondered how it was done. Falalala.

It is quite amazing (or not) how one's mood changes at the slightest hint of, well, anything.. Nyeh.
