this is my year-end post
- from IF @ 9:38 PM
Today is the last day of 2008. Am I happy that it is over? Yes. Am I happy with the year itself? No. I'm not going to whine about how horrible its been because I'm over that kind of thing. Sure it could have turned out wayyy better than it is now but I guess shit happens for us to learn something from it. But this doesn't change the fact that this year takes the trophy for being the worst year this far. Heh.
Anyway, the plus points of 2008. I made a lot of new friends and grew closer to old ones. I guess the saying absence makes the heart grows fonder is true haha. Mm. Okay thinking of plus points of this year is harder than I thought.. Let's just say, I grew up more this year and am thankful that I have pulled through.
Let's have an awesome 2009 people!
Dear God. Please make it a better year.

somewhere only we know
- from IF @ 8:24 PM
Alright as promised I shall do an entry and no way am I going to make this one clash with my new year post.
It was a pretty short getaway and the trip to Langkawi itself took almost 9 plus hours.
So now I shall let the pictures do the talking.
Did I mention that we were travelling with my dad's colleagues' families? Well I didn't really socialise much.. not that I didn't want to. I just couldn't. -shrugs.
We then checked into our hotel,
Location wise; Awesome. Facilities; Not so awesome. As in, if you are just looking for a very comfortable place to sleep and shower and stay, I would recommend this hotel because it is right infront of the beautiful beach and smacked right in the middle of a happening area. But if you're looking for a gym/karaoke/etcetc, then look further.
Dinner-ed.
After dinner, we headed to Dataran Lang (Eagle Square). Nothing here, just took pictures. Haha.
The parents. Haha. I know right.
I had to lie on the ground for this shot.
The beach! :D Bester than any Singapore beach.
Clear water!
Oh this is a different beach. Its called Pantai Pasir Hitam (Black Sand Beach). I took the liberty for the Geog freaks out there so you can click here to find out why the sand is black.
Ala eh wauuu~
Dinner at some nice restaurant.
Now now, don't get too excited. I have two theories to why this was made as such. Either the designer loveeees math that he puts formulas on everything. OR he loathe the subject so much that he put the very fundamentals of math under people's feet. Pick your theory. Haha. I didn't buy it cus I couldn't think of any use for it.
I like this shot somehow.

Okay that's all for the trip.
[edit]
Haha. I think my family on the paternal side is just too.. cute to be true. And well the maternal side is as drama as always.

cough cough
- from IF @ 10:48 PM
I'm so uninspired to blog about my short getaway and neither can I think of anything to write. Blame the virus that has rudely infiltrated my body and decided to settle down and make babies in it. Ugh.
An update shall be nigh, I promise. This blog is getting stale anyway and I find that rather annoying. Oh I'll even throw in some pictures. Bon soir people.

survey!
- from IF @ 11:06 AM
Okay! Since I have no inspiration (or rather too lazy to think properly) to blog, I shall do this thingy which I've seen popping on several blogs.
Rules & Regulations:1. Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself.2. People get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird things/habits/little facts as well as state this rule clearly3. At the end, you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names*NO TAGS BACK!*
1. I speak to myself. Alot. I'm not even exaggerating or anything. I really do talk to myself quite a bit. Even when I do appear quiet, I might be talking to myself in my mind. Shit this is making me sound like a freak but well its the truth.
2. As some people might already know, I am the master of facade. I put on a facade like really well. I may be all smiling and jumping but deep inside I might be quite depressed or upset. Its quite scary because I have become so good at it that sometimes I myself don't know what I feel much more the people around me.
3. However, my family notices that whenever I'm upset or depressed or something, my face skin tone darkens.. Hahaha. Like literally black face lol. I find it amusing more than anything though.
4. I HAVE to have this natural set of order for things. Like dessert must not be eaten before the main course even when its there staring at my face. No means no. Or or I really hate it when people, guys especially, wear slippers with their jeans. I don't mind nice slippers but the idea on a whole does not appeal to me at all. Of course I have some exceptions la like going to Friday Prayers. Now that's fine.
5. I have bad cases of headaches sometimes. Horrible. Although I have a high threshold for pain, headaches just sap the energy out from me and my body will cease all functions.
6. I think I have this weird relationship with the Malay Language. I understand it and I can write it but when it comes to speaking, I'm pretty much hopeless. Now I'm a little better albeit the Mat Salleh (English) twang which friends find so amusing. Hur.
7. I hate wasabi. Its disgusting. When I heard that McDonald's had the Wasabi Fillet-O-Fish thing I looked at it with much disdain and disgust.
8. I have high threshold for cold. I remember two years ago when I went for OB Sabah and we were at Mount Kinabalu's lodge. It was pretty cold like close to 0 degrees. I just went outside with a t-shirt, some thin longs and slippers. Haha it was fun.
9. I think some people have this notion that I talk alot which is not true. I'm pretty much reserved unless I'm quite comfortable with the group of people I'm hanging with. Other than that, I rather keep quiet.
10. Last but not least, I have a knack for remembering insignificant, small details in a conversation. I will probably remember it for at least a week. Having said that, I'm horrible at remembering where I put my things even though I put something there a minute ago. Oh the ironies of life. Haha.
