- from IF @ 9:40 PM Its over! No more late night mugging for me, for now at least, cus JCTs are finally over. So yes I'm gonna rejoice and enjoy this short so-called break. Talking about mugging, I went crazy some nights ago and decided to sleep one hour before embarking on my Mugathon. Yes only ONE freaking hour. Hence I needed the Red Bull. See Nad, I have a valid reason for taking Red Bull. So on I went from 12 to 5 plus in the morning. I swear I won't do it again. Ever. I nearly fell asleep during my Chem paper the next day. Horrible thing to do if you ask me. But you see, I wasn't the only one.  Avinash (ever) Reddy was doing the same thing. So I was kinda sane (: Alrighty I shall go off and do some fatamorgana thing. Tuesday, June 24, 2008 - from IF @ 12:14 AM One down and four more papers to go. GP was really okay until the Vocabulary section. Like who in the world uses 'inimical' in daily life? Or precocity for that matter. I'm currently doing my Math notes and smiling widely to myself. Hahahaha! Cheap thrill? I beg to differ (: Econs is haunting me, I swear. Gonna die for that paper. I love my family (: How I wish I can say the same thing for studying for the stupid JCTs. Ugh. Sunday, June 08, 2008 - from IF @ 8:32 AM I'm so sorry for the lack of updates. I just have so many things on and I find it quite hard to type out a proper entry. I wonder how Farah does it though. -shrugs. Oh and yes Ami, I'm still alive and quite well. Haha. Anyway lets trace what I've been doing for the past two weeks or so. 1) Manifestasi 2008 @ TPJC  The ones we managed to find after the show. Mardiana, Izyan, Me and Taufiq! The rest of the Kampong Temasek. All 20-something of them (:It was my first time attending Manifestasi when it was already the third or second time for most of the peeps. I blame it on SJI's non-melayu environment. We hardly know the existence of such stuff. Haha. I heard so many good reviews from my peers about their past productions and boy I was excited to see it for myself. But alas, I was a tad disappointed. Maybe I expected alot more from it? Similar to what I did for Dalang, I used the RJ drama as the yardstick for this production. It might be due to personal preferences but I liked RJ's sophisticated plot better. Though TP's drama is definitely a hell lot funnier. Talking about funny, I retold the plot to my mom and she actually liked it.. which was quite weird. Moving on, the dikir and tarian performances were the bomb! Their hard work paid off and they received an excellent response from the audience. You just have to be there to see it for yourselves. The Juara and Karut for the guys were awesome but that can't be said for the Juara for the girls though. I can't remember the girl Karut's voice though.. Mm. But hey, it was a great night and TP really pulled it off anyway. So well done (: 2) 4PM Bahas (Debate) I received a call on Manifestasi night itself from Dinie who used Nabilah's phone (I wonder why) to ask me to support them for debate. Being the so good friend I am, I went all the way to NUS the next morning to give them my moral support. Izyan and Nadh came too!  Izyan was still fascinated by her Mosaic function thing. Haha. We were at the canteen scavenging for food but MOST of the nice food were gone. We wanted to eat at Megabites but it was closed for cleaning. I mean what are the odds. Tsk. We then went to the canteen and sat at the table above. It was in front of some noodle shop and we were already discussing of what to buy. When we wanted to actually order, the pakcik said there were no noodles and apparently he was cleaning his stall too. I mean, WTH!So we proceeded to the hostel, stomachs empty and hearts broken.  The debaters! (:   Still fascinated by the mosaic function.The debaters managed to advance to the next round so yeah congrats (: 3) Negeri Sembilan Trip! I was really really excited for the trip. Being in a kampong, away from everything else. Awesome and therapeutic though SOME may disagree. Haha.  Farah and I had the biggest bags. Haha. She was step-rugger with the bag la. Tsk.The bus ride to Pelegong was really long. We entertained ourselves by playing Taiti, singing and basically talking crap. I tried sleeping but it was sometimes too noisy. We reached the place and were formally introduced to our foster parents. It was a pity that I didn't bring my camera.  I like this picture. We were so happy. The story behind this picture is that we were so bored staying at home and decided to explore the kampong. Lo and behold, we found our playing ground, the sungai (river).The next morning, we had our kampong tour. It was kinda fun.  Fishing ala kampong style anyone? There was a goat farm. 193 goats in total. This is the creepy tree. If you look closer, the branches are umm reaching to the ground and became the roots. That night was Cultural Night when Atiqah and I were the pseudo newly weds. But really, they made the ceremony so much real and similar to the real one. Haha but we had fun, didn't we Atiqah? LOL.Third day was ExploRace. Kinda like Amazing Race la. My group consisted of Kabeer, Nabilah, Hasiah and small Haziq, Haha. Haziq made alot of noise throughout the whole thing and I actually layaned his antics. In a way, he reminded me of my brother at home.  That afternoon plus plus, we boarded the bus and went home. Some cried while some rejoiced. I had mixed feelings. We stopped by KFC for dinner. It was the most kecoh dinner. I mean look who's beside me. But I don't blame her, a big humongous fly dropped into her drink. Haha.Oh after that dinner, Kabeer and I discovered that Hubba Bubba is a real chewing gum brand and we laughed like madmen. Hahaha!
