When everything around you seems so chaotic, I guess we are lucky that we can turn to two things.

The Quran and the Hadith.

I'm at peace now (:

Hey hey. I know that this space has been quite stagnant and I really blame the fact that I've been reaching home at 9plus every day. And oh, of course my laziness and lack of inspiration to blog. It is not really my fault, youknow. Well.. to a certain extent at least. Haha.

Okay since it is the only event that is fresh on my mind right now, I shall talk about Mardi Gras(sss!). Mm overall I had much fun. The atmosphere in TJ was at its funnest! Seriously, when else can you ever get to see students and teachers alike dress up in crazy and wacky costumes? Haha. Never have I ever seen so many colourful costumes at a school event. Some costumes like Mimes, Gypsies, The Mask, The Flintstones, Neo from the Matrix are only some which I can remember. I had fun la.

Mardi Gras also marks the end of the Dikir Barat season this year. I was quite sad that I goofed up the first song but nevertheless I redeemed myself in other songs. Heh. And YAY. I was so happy that my parents, Kesavan, Hazm and Ami came down for Mardi Gras! ((: All of you rock/stone (paper and scissors!)

Then we had MCS Camp. I have no comments about it but it was really tiringgg. And the 3-hour Hustings the next morning didn't help in revitalising any senses at all. At some point, I was wishing for Heaven and Earth Green Tea. Yeahh I'm random. So after that, the Kampong Melayu went to have lunch, lepak, play games, camwhore and the likes. It was rather fun but awfully tiring. Oh yes, the fact that I didn't sleep the night before added alot to my irritability level. It was at 'Intolerable for ANY nonsense' stage. But I'll save that for later.

Now for some pictures! (:

A collage of Pre-Dikir performance (:

Marissaaaa! :D
Farah Syirin! (in her prom dress) (:
(don't mind the face. no really don't mind it)

Cikgu's Birthday Celebration
PRE-Hustings. You won't want to see POST-hustings. It was a harsh but needed experience.

HAHA. Mazmo is too darn funny. So awesome in capturing such unglam moments.

So all in all I went home happy but tired.. or so I wished. Well it was only true for the latter. I did not go home happy. You see, as mentioned in several paragraphs above, my irritability level was really high and I was clearly not in the mood for any funky mambo-jumbo nonsense or anything along that line. There I was, getting myself comfortable in the bus, hoping to just doze off till I reach Yishun.

But alas, my wish was not granted. Sigh.

Sometimes I really wonder what goes through the mind of a human being or does anything goes through it for that matter. I was simply appalled. Not forgetting lost for words, speechless and dumbfounded as well. It was something I rather not think about but somehow it just kept coming back, bombarding me with more and more questions. Don't ask me why, but I kept entertaining it so much so it became too irritating to actually bear. Not that I didn't want to end it. I did. Every single effing time.

I then decided to not bother anymore, concluded the argument and went to sleep.

Upon reaching home, I walked into my room with a , and I quote, 'nakkenasepak face' (that's 'face like want to whack' for you non Malays) and went to take an hour long shower. Yes I love long hot showers. They are the best remedies for headaches and other assorted problems..

Okay this is turning to a narrative instead of a reflection.

Anyway my point is, there is a certain limit that one can really take. This includes nonsense. I hate it when people actually deduce wrongly and form their own contorted assumptions. If you have something to clarify, ask. And by that I mean ask properly and not have this rude intonation, thinking that people will succumb to your demands just because they're scared of you. Oh yes, mind your language as well. Basic courtesy anyone?

I'm actually tired of this and I really don't see a need for me to even explain myself. I have done nothing wrong and many can vouch for it. So there.

Haha. Wow I was certainly much amused this week. Not quite by the antics of my Melayus or 25/08 but rather by something said by one of my schoolmates. Laugh. Out. Loud. Well, someone has definitely reached a new low

Wow. I know this is very the WOLS but its better late than never. And besides, quite a few have been bugging me for an entry, particularly on the RJC Drama Production which happened just a few days ago. I brought along with me a battalion, 18 men (and women) strong.

So here goes.

Dalang was the title of the production and honestly I didn't know the meaning of that word until I read the subtitles in the final scene. Haha but its not the first time anyway. I had trouble understanding the title of the RGS Drama Production two years ago too until someone explained it to me. Yes my Malay vocabulary is that bad. I ordered 17 tickets for that night and the fact that it wasn't free-sitting and number of orders wasn't confirmed till the very last day made it so difficult for me, and Haslina as well. So thank you girl for being so patient and paying the tickets for us (:

I came into the auditorium with a certain yardstick to measure its quality and that was the RGS production, Prolognya, Epilogku. In my most honest opinion, I prefer Prolognya. Not that I'm dissatisfied with Dalang or anything but, in terms of plot, Prolog is better. Dalang had an unexpected, though cliche, ending but I guess Prolog had a cooler ending. -shrugs.
As for the acting, I think most cast members were pretty spot on in their portrayal of their characters. Special mention goes to Haslina, (again. I can't help it, you were really great) Fawaz and Arina. Puspawati was so comical and lightened the tension of the play which was a good thing.

Oh and I love the music and visual effects. Backstage crew rocked as well. The props were removed efficiently and quickly. So all in all, the night was great fun. I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Now for pictures!

Ahh! I find this kid so cute! We (Syaza, Taufiq and I) were playing with him during intermission. Then during curtain call, we got to know this little boy was related to the RJC's Cikgu who was sitting two rows behind us. Hahaha!

Marissa and Fadhilah! My saviour and the lembab one! Hahaha. Thank you Marissa for your company AND doing my sleeves for me. And eh Fad? Don't sleep on your Econs notes lagi boleh? Hahaha.

This is awesome. I'm hot-red while Taufiq is cool-blue (:

Mardi Gras is NEXT Friday and I'm gonna be so busy with stuffs. I'm glad for the people who continue to brighten up my days. Like the Melayus and 25/08. Love!

School. School. School.

One word. One syllable. Six letters.

I can't believe that school has the ability to take over my life and totally ruin my normal routines. My schedule is greatly affected and living so far from school is not helping at all. To summarise it all up, I'm tired, dead tired. Physically, mentally and emotionally.

Sigh.
