This weekend couldn't be any better. I'm not even kidding. It is by far the best weekend in a rather long time. And here are three reasons why (:
(i) Seriously, what can be sweeter than victory. I'm so happy for the SJI Bahas team. Finally (or as Cikgu will put it, 'Akhirnya!') the title has come back to Malcolm Road. Considering that this was our third meeting in the Finals, one can say that SJI and RGS knew each other well, perhaps too well. In addition to that, they met in the Semi-finals before this round as well. The pressure was on both teams to win. RGS, to retain their title. SJI, to claim back what they lost two years ago. It was an interesting debate. I kid you not, every moment was worth watching. The celahans (Point of Information) was quite heated especially during the Penggulungs' (Final Speaker) round.
Then it was the announcement of results. Actually before that was the review of the debate. I found the guy really irritating. I mean his tone was so biased and he kept criticising how SJI lack concrete evidence. Pft. So yes, results.
Sheila got Best Speaker for that round and Jean (pronounced as John) clinched the Overall Best Speaker award.
And finally, after much suspense, SJI became Champions again. I swear I can just stay in that moment forever. Everyone was jumping, cheering and clapping. Woww. Then we did our signature pump-fisting cheer and to tie things up, the J-O-S-E-P-H-S cheer which I miss so much btw. Mmmh. I need to go back man. Anyway congrats Cikgu and the debaters. Hidup Pasukan Bahas SJI (:
(ii) Chelsea 2 - Manchester United 1
Enough said. The results is self-explantory. And it totally doesn't matter that Man U has a healthy goal difference. Chelsea defeated Man U. Period. (:

Lovely reflections, lovely friends (: (Spot me, spot me!) Last but definitely not least, our sweet escape to Changi Airport. It was so therapeutic and worth it. A lunch which lasted for more than one hour at Popeye's was great fun. Haha. Somehow watching Popeye and Bluto fighting over Olive reminded me how I used to watch that cartoon series religiously. Every 9 pm, I would switch to Cartoon Network and watch that. Ahh those were the days. Haha.
After lunch, we visited the viewing malls. Both T1 and T2. Charades and Truth was so fun. Nevermind that we looked like idiots who just came out of the mental hospital, randomly laughing hysterically and doing stupid stuffs. We had fun and you didn't. Hah! I kid, I kid (:
Oh and a random picture from the Youth Forum.
It was backstage and we had nothing better to do. Haha. People kept saying I looked pretty with make-up that day.. Mm. I think I shall take that as a compliment. Credits to Izyan for the pictures (:
And oh yes. As her Best Friend #1, I shall pray for Farah. May she get what she wants by 11.59pm today and may her mom be convinced to buy her new shoes. Amin.

Yes, I know it has been such a long time since I've last updated this space but its not that I mean to let spiderwebs take over. Truth is, I've been planning to write an entry for quite some time now but I procrastinate. Ohwell.
Temasek Youth Forum. Dikir Barat. Floorball. Studies.
Those few things have been taking up almost all of my time these days. Sigh I really wish I have the time for myself, and solely myself, sometimes. So yes I can't wait for the June Holidays but even that I have doubts of having such a luxury.

'Hey V.. Mm how was your race?' '(with a straight face) Ceylonese.' 'Oh... okay. So how was your race?' 'Ceylonese!' 'Uh, what? V.. I'm not asking about that race.' 'OH. HAHAHA. OMG.'
'Ahhhhhhhhh! -incomprehensible whining- WHAT is this karat nonsense!'
Seriously.. Karat nonsense? Tak boleh angkat manzxzx. But hey these are the things which make school more bearable and enjoyable I guess? (:

This is us, Melayus, at TPJC supporting Dinie who took part in the Pidato Competition. I think we made the most noise in the auditorium la. Whether it was to complain about the near sub-zero temperature of the auditorium or singing and translating 'Dyan Yulaiha' in English, we were just so kecoh. And congrats to Dinieee Munchkin! Dikir Prac after that was just too hilarious. And apparently I just can't stick to my promise I made on Friday.. Mm I think the phrase 'refrain from' will replace the 'must not' bit in that particular clause. Yeahhh.
More pictures will be up cus I'm waiting for Shakira to send me the MCS Trail pictures.
And the vicious cycle starts again tomorrow. SIGH. And and for some reason, I felt so melancholic and angsty today. Yeah I blame Farah for that. Haha.
PS. Man Utd drew with Middlesbrough!! :D :D This is so exciting. I can't wait for next Sunday. Now anything can happen. Well maybe except Derby winning the whole EPL.

Two things I refuse to understand.
1) How flu just completely ruins your life. It affects your breathing, throat, appetite and even hearing. Yes hearing. Well, cus when you have to blow your nose and somehow some sort of pressure thing blocks your ear.. I don't know how to explain. But that, bugs me alot.
2) The Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus fever. I don't get the hype, at all.
