OKAY! I haven't updated this blog in quite awhile. The reason being 1) Too busy studying 2) Completing that stack of papers called homework 3) Study sessions. My social life, that is if i have one, has been reduced to zilch. I was so appalled lah when someone told me to 'stop going online often'. I mean like I haven't. I only switch on the com to listen to my playlist at radioblogclub which is under maintenence right now and I'm left with no entertainment. ):

Sigh sigh.

Its love really and its hilarious. Watch it if you haven't. Drew Barrymore is so cute lahh. Okay its been a pointless entry. Bye.

Haha. Funny how time passes by really quick. Its already March. Like hello? 7 more months to the big O and by that I meant our O Level Examinations. Tsk. Aiyah. Seriously. I think I'll be be blogging lesser and lesser this year which may be a good thing unless I really have to let the whole wide world know about something. Other than that, blogging will be unnecessary (:

I looked at the Os timetable the other day and was disappointed at the fact that my Higher Malay Paper falls on the 12th November! I really thought my papers would have ended by then but nooo they decide that I should stay at home and memorise my peribahasas the day before that, which happens to be my birthday. Ohwell. No use sulking. Its been set. Maktub.

Talking about Maktub, I am currently into Paulo Coelho books because 1) They rock! 2) Each book carries an important message. 3) I need to keep my English in tip-top condition. 4) English is important in the Exams and 5) Because I can't seem to stop Hazm from reading so as the saying goes, 'if you can't stop them, join them'.

Anyway. I think his books are really not bad. I'd recommend 'Veronika Decides To Die'. Reaaaaaaaally good.

Well basically its about this girl, Veronika, who attempted suicide on the 11th November (Just thought you'd want to know the date). She failed and woke up in a mental hospital and was told she only had 5 days to live due to heart complications caused by her suicide attempt. She went through one heck of a 5-day stay. There is a somewhat unexpected twist in this tale of life and I finished this book in awe, having been inspired to think about mental illness in a whole new way. What is sanity, and what is insanity? What is an ethical patient treatment? Why do we want to live, and what is the point of anything? This book does not answer these questions, but it definitely opens the discussion. In short, I love it.

There's a particular part which is rather provocative. Its something to do with God. It goes something like this. Since life is predestined and everything we do, from the family we are born into, the education we get, the job positions we hold etc etc, then God won't be surprised that we commit a sin at a particular time, would He? Or would He? It sets you thinking but I was assured by my parents when I asked them. They said I should always believe in God and that these thoughts only make you lose faith in Him and the one responsible for making me do so is the Devil himself. I was convinced so I gave up on thinking about it any further. Just leave as it is. Haha.

Goodnight folks (:
